Chadwick Acres is a waterfront community located between Chadwick Bay and Alligator Bay in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina.
Homes in the community are almost all custom designed and built with
build years ranging from the 70s to the more recent 2000s. Their style
is generally coastal themed with many being built on pilings with
expansive porches and painted bright colors. Some waterfront homes have
docks and piers extending from their backdoor, which let residents get
out on the water more whether it be on their boat, paddleboard, kayak,
or just diving in. A private dock also means less time waiting at a
public boat ramp or driving to a marina. And while not everybody has a
private dock, every home in Chadwick Acres is either waterfront or water
view property.
There is no homeowners’ association for Chadwick Acres. Residents
save several extra dollars each year by not having to pay out extreme
HOA dues for services they don’t want, need, or use. Additionally,
Chadwick Acres residents have more freedom to use their property in the
manner they please. Many residents store their craft in their backyard,
driveway, or garage, if they don’t have a dock for it, which might be an
issue in other communities where boat storage is restricted on
properties. Nearby public boat ramps make it equally easy for residents
who don’t have a private to take their boat out on the water.
Being located in Sneads Ferry, Chadwick Acres residents have access
to some terrific dining, shopping, and attractions. Sneads Ferry is a
small town, so many of its restaurants, shops, and other businesses are
locally owned and operated and reflect the town’s atmosphere. Residents
are also less than ten minutes away from North Topsail Beach, so if the
Intracoastal Waterway isn’t enough, they can visit the Atlantic Ocean
too.
