Virginia Bay is a waterfront gated community in Hampstead, North Carolina, featuring custom homes and oversized wooded lots. Many of the homesites are built along the tidal marsh with direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway. As such, homeowners have the option of building their own private boat slips and piers. A community dock is located at the back of the community and is perfect for a quiet evening or launching kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and other small craft.

Virginia Bay gives homebuyers the ability to buy waterfront property and build the house they want on it. New residents are welcome to bring whichever builder they choose provided that any floorplans are approved by the homeowners’ association. Residents can also choose to utilize one of the builders already building in Virginia Bay.

The HOA for Virginia Bay covers all commonly held areas. Maintenance of common areas, roads, streetlights, and the community dock is included in residents’ HOA dues. Any maintenance required for Virginia Bay’s gated security is also included.
