This is the perfect New Year’s Eve event for anyone who can’t make it to midnight (like me!). Dine on delicious French cuisine along the enchanting Riverwalk in historic downtown Wilmington. At 6:00 p.m., enjoy a glass of bubbly for a toast when it is midnight in Paris.

New Year’s Eve Bash featuring Machine Gun

Tickets for this event go fast. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and Machine Gun plays from 8:00 p.m. – Midnight. The SeaWitch goes all out with a red carpet, photobooth, special menu, large dance floor, complimentary favors and champagne for the New Year’s toast. You can make a dinner reservation for the night, but you must have a ticket for the show to do so.
New Year’s Eve at Bluewater

Bluewater is hosting TWO New Year’s Eve parties. Patrons can choose between a live band, Uptown Easy, on the second floor and DJ Sir Charles on the tented, heated patio. Both parties will have favors and bubbly toasts. Patrons can also come early and enjoy a 3-course meal for $45/person (last seatings enjoy complimentary entry to the parties). You can also celebrate the new year the following day with Bluewater’s New Year’s Day Brunch. The menu will have traditional New Year’s Day items (black eye peas and collards), as well as a Build your own Bloody Mary option.
New Year’s Eve “Any Shade” of Masquerade Party

Enjoy a fun masquerade event on New Year’s Eve at Waterline Brewing Company. Get creative and make a mask (sunglasses also welcome). No mask? They’ll have some onsite. Dead Crow Comedy presents Rosebud Baker, a New York-based comedian, actress, and writer who was recently selected to be a New Face at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2018. She was the winner of the New York Comedy Competition at New York Comedy Club in 2016 and was a finalist in New York’s She-Devil Comedy Festival.

Enjoy watching the giant beach ball drop at the Island of Lights New Year’s Eve Celebration. This year it’s in Kure Beach (it alternates between Kure Beach and Carolina Beach). Listen to music provide by a local DJ and enjoy the fireworks after the ball drop. This is a family-friendly event.
