It’s important to have a skilled negotiator on your side, too. Realtors understand the business and can help you narrow down your buyer pool, evaluate your offers, and choose the best one. Your Wilmington real estate agent will also help you manage the emotions involved in selling your home. Your home means a lot to you, and if you try to sell on your own, you may either rush into a decision or hesitate for too long.

If you’re still concerned about paying the Realtor fee after knowing where it goes, it may be possible go negotiate with your agent.
