Three Local Businesses Awarded AAA Four Diamond Distinction for 2015

It’s always great to hear of local establishments being recognized for their hard work. Just recently, AAA announced the recipients of their 2015 Four Diamond Distinction. This distinction is judged against a rigorous set of principles and only 3.4 percent of more than 59,000 annual inspections conducted nationally result in a four diamond rating. In North Carolina, 30 accomodations and 15 restaurants were awarded the four diamond rating. Out of those, 3 were hospitality businesses in Wilmington!

For the 16th consecutive year, The Graystone Inn, originally “The Bridgers Mansion,” has earned the AAA Four Diamond rating. It’s also the 13th time The Verandas Bed & Breakfast Inn has earned the rating. If you like bed and breakfasts, you have two very fine ones to choose from. Both are located in Historic Downtown Wilmington under beautiful live oaks and spanish moss, so you’re neve far from fine museums, theaters, shopping, restaurants, and the Cape Fear River.

For the first time, Manna, an American cuisine restaurant, is being honored with the AAA Four Diamond rating. It’s also the first Wilmington restaurant to receive the rating. Located on Princess Street in Historic Wilmington, just two blocks from the river, the culinary staff at Manna work hard to incorporate fresh local produce into their menu, which changes to assure only the best seasonal items are being served. We highly suggest you experience their excellent food.

Congratulations to these 3 fine establishments!
