The Preserve at Oak Island is an upscale condo community off Long Beach Road in Southport, NC. Though the name implies the complex is in the Town of Oak Island, the address is in Southport. Part of the property sits on the Intracoastal Waterway that runs between the mainland and Oak Island. It also borders the Cape Fear Regional Jetport, a public use airport owned by the Brunswick County Airport Commission (visit their website to read their Aircraft & Noise Abatement).
The community offers residents a clubhouse with a fitness center, swimming pool, and walking trails. The Oak Island Par 3 Golf course is conveniently nearby. It’s also just a 7-minute drive the beach on Oak Island and less than 15 minutes to historic Southport.
Condos in The Preserve at Oak Island were built in the early 2000s and range from 1,100 sq.ft. to 1,900 sq.ft. with 1-3 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms. Each unit has a covered deck, open floor plan, and spacious master suite. Each building has an elevator and assigned covered parking. Many of the units have water views, but the walking trails are also fabulous for enjoying the surrounding landscape.
