North Shore

North Shore is a diverse home community sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and Banks Channel in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Perhaps more so than any other Wrightsville Beach community, North Shore provides buyers with a plethora of options in terms of style and price point. Single-family homes, townhouses, and condos can be found here. Properties have off-street parking, which makes things a lot easier for residents and reduces congestion in the community's streets. The wide variety of styles is matched by equally varied prices. The largest and most updated homes will fetch near a million dollars, but smaller, less updated ones can go as low as half that.

Much of each home's value is determined by its proximity to the water. North Shore spans a space between the Atlantic Ocean and Banks Channel and as such, has a variety of waterfront and water view properties for both the ocean and the channel. Additionally, some homes don't have either, which allows prospective buyers to a pay a little less but still receive the accessibility to the water. North Shore is near several public beach accesses, and a handful of homes also have private beach accesses. On the other side of the community, several homes have accompanying access to the channel and include docks for storage and launching. A public dock and boat ramp is located a minute's drive further up the road.

North Shore is also located along the River to Sea Bikeway, which runs all the way from the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington to Public Access 16 in Wrightsville Beach. Many residents use all or part of the path as a safe method of transportation. While many residents can't get enough of Wrightsville Beach, downtown Wilmington attracts residents with its charming history and long list of local shops and restaurants.
