Oakvale

Oakvale is a community off Scotts Hill Loop Road in Wilmington, NC. This area of the Port City is located in Pender County. It's a 3-minute drive to Poplar Grove Plantation where there is a weekly Farmers' Market from spring to autumn, as well as special events throughout the year. It's also 6 minutes to shopping and dining in Porters Neck, or residents can go to Hampstead, which is 8 minutes away.

Construction of homes in Oakvale began in the 1970s and have continued throughout multiple eras. As a result, there is a wide range of home styles and sq.ft. They range from 1,400 sq.ft. to 3,800 sq.ft. with 2-5 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms. Not all of the homes have garages, but those that do may have upwards of 3 parking spaces.

Boaters may be interested to know that Marsh Creek Marina is 3 minutes away further down Scotts Hill Loop on the ICWW. They offer dry and wet boat slips, and have onsite fuel. There's also a restaurant called The Sailfish Casual Dining.
