The Castle Street Arts & Antique District is a unique area of Wilmington that isn't officially a neighborhood but more of a community. It has seen a variety of residents throughout the years as it has evolved from segregation through a renewed interest in the downtown area. It now plays host to residents interested in the arts, antiques, and local flair.
Nestled amongst bungalows, cottages, and older homes, you will see a vinyl records store, coffee shop, antique stores, vintage boutiques, barber shops, hair salons, corner stores, and locally-owned farm-to-table restaurants (including excellent soul food). You'll also find specialty businesses, like tattoo artists, fitness classes, and a distillery.
While visiting the Castle Street Arts & Antique District, you'll soon realize the people who live and work here take pride in the community and its small town feel. If you're interested in seeing any of the homes listed here, please don't hesitate to
