Castle Street Arts & Antique District

The Castle Street Arts & Antique District is a unique area of Wilmington that isn't officially a neighborhood but more of a community. It has seen a variety of residents throughout the years as it has evolved from segregation through a renewed interest in the downtown area. It now plays host to residents interested in the arts, antiques, and local flair.

Nestled amongst bungalows, cottages, and older homes, you will see a vinyl records store, coffee shop, antique stores, vintage boutiques, barber shops, hair salons, corner stores, and locally-owned farm-to-table restaurants (including excellent soul food). You'll also find specialty businesses, like tattoo artists, fitness classes, and a distillery.
