Brooklyn Arts District

Brooklyn Arts District is a unique community in the Northside area of Wilmington, NC. It's dotted with industrial style buildings and old churches, with the Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews on North 4th Street acting as a cultural anchor point. The Brooklyn Arts Center is a venue for live music, concerts, weddings, flea markets, and art shows. It's a reflection of the highly-creative community that surrounds it.

Artists and other creative types have gravitated to the community and made a once-declining area blossom with refurbished homes, art studios, restaurants, breweries, bottle shops, and more. It's also within walking distance of Cape Fear Community College and the Wilson Center, where nationally-touring acts perform, including Broadway shows, comedians, ballet companies, and well-known musicians.

Homes in the Brooklyn Arts District consist of historic bungalows and cottages with some newer-built houses in similar designs mixed in. There are also some condominium buildings in the area - The Weldon, Modern Baking Company, Brooklyn House, and City Block Apartments - all of which exhibit their own unique urban flair. 

Despite area growth, the Brooklyn Arts Districts maintains its small-town feel and proves to be popular among home buyers looking for an artistic community with entertainment and dining options.
