Ocean to Sound

Ocean to Sound is a single-family home beach community in Surf City, NC. As the name implies, the community stretches from the sound to the beach, across N. New River Drive and N. Topsail Drive. It’s within walking distance of dining and a short drive or bike ride from shopping at the center of town.

The homes in Ocean to Sound are built by Wellman's Construction. They are built on pilings and have carports and storage rooms underneath on the first or ground level. The exteriors have cedar shake, board and batten, and horizontal lap siding, as well as covered porches and open decks.

The interiors feature an elevator and LVP flooring throughout. The second level of each house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry area. Depending on the floor plan, the main living areas may be on the third or fourth levels with additional bedrooms and flex spaces filling the other floor.

Each home has an open kitchen with Shaker Style birch cabinets, granite countertops, a stainless steel sink, and a Delta faucet. The bathrooms have cultured marble vanity tops, Delta faucets, and birch cabinets similar to the kitchen. The appliances are stainless steel and the water heater is 60 gallons.
