Windermere Estates

Windermere Estates is an affordable home community from Stevens Fine Homes located off Mt. Misery Road in Leland, North Carolina. In total, the community has 76 homes. Several of the lots are located along the pond front or have pond views. Two ponds are located within the community, a larger one near the front and a long, narrow one in the middle. In an effort to keep as much greenery as possible, developers carved out sections of the community to be used as green spaces and spared trees around the edge of the community. As such, almost every home in Windermere Estates backs up to a pond or wooded area.

As with every Stevens Fine Homes community, homes in Windermere Estates were constructed with energy-efficient features and plenty of upgrades from which to choose. Stevens offered 10 different floor plans with a variety of design packages during construction, including 1 and 2-story homes with front porches and open layouts. Homes from 1,400 to 3,200 square feet with 3 to 6 bedrooms and 2 to 3.5 baths.

In addition to having fantastic homes, Windermere Estates is also in a fantastic location within Leland. Slightly further away from the city's busier areas, residents enjoy a little more peace and quiet when compared to other communities located along highway 17. However, they're still close enough to enjoy all the local shopping, dining, and activities.
