Stoney Creek Plantation is a quiet community located off Hazels Branch Road in Leland, North Carolina. There are no extravagant amenities in Stoney Creek Plantation—although a low homeowners' association fee covers maintenance and upkeep of the community's common areas—but the community does offer quality homes in a quiet neighborhood with well-maintained streets and common areas. A single main road, Stoney Creek Lane, comprises the only entrance and exit of the community. Cul-de-sac extend from the main road. The lone entrance and exit combined with numerous cul-de-sac reduce the traffic noise to almost nothing in the community. The only cars that enter Stoney Creek Plantation will be those of residents and their guests.

Homes in the community are a diverse group. Most are traditional style homes with vinyl siding or brick as the main exterior material. Both one and two-story homes comprise the neighborhood, starting as small as 1,000 square feet and stretching to about 2,400. On average, homes have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but buyers can find between 2 and 5 bedrooms and 2 and 4 bathrooms. Prices start in the low-$100s and generally don't go above the low-$200s.

Aside from the quality constructions and pristine neighborhood, Stoney Creek Plantation is in an excellent location.
