Northern Lights

Northern Lights is a new community off Northwest Road NE, just 10 minutes from shopping and dining at the heart of Leland, NC. It has easy access to the I40 Bypass and is 15 minutes to downtown Wilmington. It’s also a 35 minute drive to Oak Island and Wrightsville Beach.

The Coastal Craftsman Style homes in Northern Lights are built by Stevens Fine Homes. Around 162 homes are planned with floor plans starting in the low $200s. Trees have been left intact to create green spaces for residents. Ponds are also located in the community, which has a low monthly HOA fee.

There are 12 floor plans ranging from 1,405 sq.ft. to 3,140 sq.ft with 3-6 bedrooms, 2-3.5 bathrooms, and 2-car garages. One-story and two-story options are available. Exteriors include low-maintenance vinyl siding, covered porches, sod, and irrigation. At the rear of the homes are options for screened porches and patios.

Interior features vary by floor plan and may include trey ceilings, Markraft cabinetry, granite counters, tiled backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, pantries, laminate wood flooring, recessed lighting, and more. In addition to the basic rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and laundry room), a floor plan may include a formal dining room, media room, sunroom, family room, home office, breakfast room, arts and crafts room, loft, and/or bonus room. One of the nice things about Stevens Fine Homes is their approach to creating energy-efficient houses that are sure to save buyers money on their utilities (compared to older homes).
