The Harbour at Summerset is a custom home community off of Country Club Drive and Mallard Bay Drive in Hampstead, North Carolina. The community is reasonably sized, creating a larger, but still close-knit community. The variety of homes in the community is due in large part to their custom construction. No two homes in The Harbour at Summerset are alike, making for an eclectic feel and plenty of options for prospective residents.
Homes start at 2,750 square feet and reach just over 4,000 square feet with 3 to 5 bedrooms and baths. Prices are equally diverse, ranging from the mid-$300s to mid-$500s. Homes also vary in their build year. Building began in 2005 and continues to this day. However, even the oldest homes have been updated and maintained to rival newer constructions both in The Harbour at Summerset and other communities in the area.
Aside from the terrific homes and atmosphere of The Harbour at Summerset, the community is also positioned well in the Hampstead area. Located near the northern part of Hampstead, the community is just one mile from the Harbour Village Marina, which has boast slips for sale and rent. Additionally, Hampstead has a public boat ramp and access to the Intracoastal Waterway for residents who store their craft at their home. Kiwanis Park is within walking distance of the community. With three baseball fields, three multi-purpose fields, a concession stand, and playground, the park has plenty to entertain residents. The Harbour at Summerset is a 15-minute drive from Topsail Island, which is composed of three small beach towns. Surf City is the largest and first encountered over the bridge. Topsail Beach is to the south, and North Topsail Beach is—logically—to the north. Both are a little less populated and crowded. But each of the three has its own atmosphere and shops that give it local charm.
