Forest Hills is an estate and equestrian community located in Hampstead, North Carolina. With massive 1.5–8.5 acre lots, this community is paradise for homebuyers who love wide open spaces. Residents are welcome—and even encouraged—to build barns and pastures on their property. And while residents are not required to own horses in order to live in Forest Hills, the community does require that owners have at least two horses, as it is proven to be better for the animals’ well-being.
H&H Homes has built some of the homes in Forest Hills, but the community also allows residents to bring their own builder. This opens up many possibilities where new residents can customize their homes as much or as little as they like. Though it can vary widely based upon the options buyers choose, prices in Forest Hills start in the mid-to-high $300s. Though the community doesn’t boast any “cool” amenities like pools and fitness centers (however, residents have enough room in their backyard for both), the Forest Hills’ homeowners’ association cares for all the common areas of the community, which include roads, streetlights, and almost 20 acres of nature preserve land.
Though the large lots and many home options are enough to make anyone want to live there, the location of Forest Hills also contributes to its overall value. Hampstead is a steadily growing area with small town roots that still show to this day. Small businesses and local shops continue to delight and service customers in the area. That isn’t to say that Hampstead hasn’t seen its fair share of development. The town features plenty of large chains that provide diversity where local shops sometimes can’t.
Forest Hills is a great community for any buyer seeking a bigger plot of land, whether it be for their horses or just a little bit more breathing room. It would be our pleasure to assist you if you want more information on this community or any others in the area. Contact the Cameron Team today.
