Deerfield Estates is an established waterfront community in Hampstead, North Carolina. The homes in Deerfield Estates come in a variety styles with a range of features and upgrades. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway and Mill Creek, Deerfield Estates affords residents access for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Many homes even feature private docks or launches. What Deerfield Estates lacks in amenities, it makes up with quality, affordable homes in a great location. Residents also have the luxury of no pesky homeowners’ association. HOAs can sometimes be overly restrictive of residents, but Deerfield Estates residents can freely use their property.

Just outside the city limits of Hampstead, residents avoid having to pay city taxes but still reap the benefits of being close by. Hampstead started as a small town and still largely has the same feel today. Many of the businesses are still locally owned and operated. With increased traffic along Highway 17, more chains have started calling Hampstead home though. The local shops still hold a special place in locals’ hearts, but the chains add a little more variety.

Deerfield Estates is also only a fifteen minute drive from Topsail Island. Composed of three small towns—Topsail Beach, Surf City, and North Topsail Beach—Topsail Island has a diverse selection of attractions, shopping, and dining. From small boutique shops to restaurants with freshly fried fish, there’s no shortage of things to do on the island.
