Cape Landing is a brand new community with off Blue Clay Road in Castle Hayne, just outside of Wilmington, North Carolina. It's a short drive to Laney High School and Cape Fear College's north campus. Cape Landing also has a terrific location in the area. As with many areas in New Hanover County, Castle Hayne has had a growth plan outlined by the county Planning Department. The county created the plan in response to the growing number of developments that were taking root. Castle Hayne has long been prized for its small-town feel and as an escape from the bustling city life. In keeping with that tradition, the county proposed a plan that would allow further development of the area but in a sustainable manner. Many residential and commercial projects are underway or in the works for the Castle Hayne area, making it an exciting time for the town.
Additionally, a short drive down Interstate 40 brings residents into the center of Wilmington for work or play. With its rich culture and thriving economy, Castle Hayne residents frequently make trips to the city for their jobs or just for fun.
