Tranquil Harbor is an established community that borders a long stretch of E. Oak Island Drive on Oak Island, NC. Homes in this community come in a wide range of styles and sizes with construction years dating as far back as the 1950s. Half of the community sits between the Intracoastal Waterway and Davis Canal, so there are numerous homes with water views and private docks. It's an excellent community to look in if you are a boater and desire to be steps from your vessel.

This area of the island is also home to a few walking trails and parks, perfect for fishing, crabbing, and viewing local wildlife. On SE 31st Street is a kayak launch that provides access to Davis Canal. Right off E. Oak Island Drive is the E.F. Middleton Park. In addition to tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, and a playground, it has a popular splash pad, perfect for kiddos during hot summer days. Next to the park is shopping dining, so daily essentials are never far away.
