Southern Shore Villas

Southern Shore Villas is a small oceanfront condo community on SE 58th Street on Oak Island, NC. Residents enjoy an inground swimming pool with ocean views and a dune-top cabana with direct access to the beach. Many of the units also have decks and views of the ocean, which is fabulous for enjoying some of the most gorgeous sunrises and sunsets in the Southeast.

The first two buildings in Southern Shore Villas were constructed in the 1980s. A third building was added in the early 2000s. Most of the condos range from 1,000 sq.ft. to 1,500 sq.ft with 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They have full-sized kitchens with pantries, open floor plans, and spacious master suites. Each building has covered parking and a ground-floor storage room for each condo.

Vacation rentals are allowed in Southern Shore Villas. The fact it’s within walking distance of grocery stores, ice cream, miniature golf, and restaurants makes it popular with island visitors. It’s also 6 minutes from the island’s golf course and 25 minutes from Historic Southport.
