November 29, 2021 Wilmington Real Estate Market Update

11-29 Market Update - Melanie Cameron

If you want to get a running start listing your home for sale in 2022, now is the time to get started. Many of the to-do items can be completed without disrupting holiday festivities or even completed as you prepare to host get-togethers.

To get you thinking…

  • Fix leaks and touch-up paint
  • Rake fallen leaves and edge your yard
  • Deep clean (think of all the places you overlook, like the window sash and the bottom of the fridge)
  • De-personalize your home when you pack up holiday decorations (put away family pictures, collectibles, signs, etc.) when you’re already getting into your storage
  • Donate unused toys, clothes, and household items – people will appreciate it during the neediest time of the year
  • Pressure wash stained cement and dirty siding

But before you jump into that, listen to Realtor Melanie Cameron as she shares how many homes have come on the market, gone under contract, and sold in New Hanover County, Pender County, and Brunswick County in the past 7 days.
