Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and historic Fort Fisher make up "Pleasure Island" at the lower tip of New Hanover County, NC, where the Cape Fear River, Intracoastal Waterway, and Atlantic Ocean meet. There are two within a 10 minute drive from Carolina Beach - Masonboro Country Club and Beau Rivage Golf and Resort. Enjoy art? Cameron Art Museum is a 20 minute drive from Pleasure Island and there are additional gallery options in downtown Wilmington. Enjoy the theater? Thalian Hall has been in use since 1858 and hosts over 250 shows a year. There's so much to do!
