Holly Ridge, Surf City, and Topsail Beach make up a unique area that stretches from Onslow County to Pender County at the Atlantic Ocean. On one end, there's Holly Ridge, which is home to Marine Corps Outlying Field (MCOLF) Camp Davis. In the middle is Surf City, the center of all the businesses and activity at Topsail Island. At the tail end is Topsail Beach (pronounced Top'sl), a quiet beach area that gets its name from a history rich with pirate lore. These three towns share a zip code and cover a total of 12.4 square-miles, both country and waterfront properties. It's an area filled with tons of recreational activities and lots of military pride.
