Crosswinds
Located in the Masonboro Loop Area of Wilmington, North Carolina, is the family oriented community of Crosswinds. It contains about 250 homes, many of which were built in the 1990’s, and range from 2000-3000 square-feet with 3-5 bedrooms. There is a mix of single and two-story homes, many featuring a two car attached garage. Brick and vinyl shake siding are popular in this community, as well as fenced back yards and garage bonus rooms.
The community of Crosswinds is well maintained and quiet. Homes feature mature trees and established landscaping. The low monthly HOA dues are applied toward management fees, common area taxes, and common area maintenance, like storm water management/drainage and streetlights.
Crosswinds is a short drive from shopping and restaurants in the Monkey Junction area, and about 10 minutes from Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Just down the road is Trails End Park, a New Hanover County public boat ramp, which also happens to be right across the water from Masonboro Island, an undeveloped barrier island that is a popular destination for local boaters.
