Carolina Shores is a community located in Carolina Shores, NC. This can be confusing, but the community was originally a standalone development before it became a large part of the Town of Carolina Shores. Most of the community is built around the Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole golf course. The exceptions are Carolina Shores North, which is built on the opposite side of Highway 17 than the golf course, and a newer section of the main community that branches off Persimmon Road.
The community consists of five subdivisions, including: Carolina Shores and Carolina Shores North, which have single-family homes; Carolina Shores Fairway Villas, which has townhomes; and Carolina Shores Resort and Carolina Shores Village, which have condominiums. Carolina Shores, Carolina Shores North, and Carolina Shores Fairway Villas share a community pool, clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and park areas. Carolina Shores Resort has its own swimming pool, spa, and picnic area, while Carolina Shores Village is gated and has its own in-ground swimming pool.
Opportunities to enjoy Brunswick County’s gorgeous outdoors are available just minutes away. Residents can boat, paddleboard, and fish along the Calabash River and Intracoastal Waterway. Those who want to enjoy the beach lifestyle need only travel less than 10 minutes to the ocean at Sunset Beach.
