Supply, NC, is a small unincorporated community in Brunswick County. It's located where NC-211 meets U.S. 17, just 15 minutes from Holden Beach and 40 minutes from Wilmington, NC. It earned its name from the trade route that used to exist along the nearby Lockwood Folly River.
Supply is home to the Green Swamp Preserve, a 15,000-acre nature conservancy that is most well known for its longleaf pines and 14 species of insectivorous plants (Venus flytrap, pitcher plant, etc.), as well as rare animal species, such as the American alligator, Henslow's sparrow, Bachman's sparrow, and Hessel's hairstreak butterfly.
Covering a large section of land, Supply has proven itself popular among home buyers looking to own affordable homes or acreage while still having a convenient drive to the Brunswick County beaches.
