Birch Creek

Birch Creek is a condo community off Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington, NC. The condos in this community are two stories tall and laid out like townhomes, so there are no units above and below. Each condo has its own fenced outdoor area or courtyard, and the community features a lovely tree canopy, which makes for a very private, shaded setting.

There about 120 condos in the community of Birch Creek. They range from 1,100 sq.ft. to 2,500 sq.ft. with 2-3 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms. Some have 1 and 2-car garages.

The interiors of the Birch Creek condos vary depending on the style of condo. Some lean towards a traditional layout, while others have vaulted ceilings and open floor plans. Fireplaces are common features, as well as exterior sliding glass doors in the main living area.

These condos were built in the 1980s and 1990s, but there's a spectrum of interior finishes because owners have updated since construction. One condo may have laminate flooring. Another may have tile. And the next may have wood. So, while the exteriors of the condos may look similar, you never know what you'll find on the inside (in a good way).

Residents of Birch Creek enjoy a community swimming pool and tennis court. It's also close to Empie Park, the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex, and the shopping and dining around Independence Mall.  This Midtown location has proven very popular with home buyers.
